Taylor Homan and Brittney Klein led the Crawford boys and girls to victories over Guernsey-Sunrise Monday, each draining four treys in their games and scoring 18 points.
The boys defeated Guernsey-Sunrise 70-40, while the Lady Rams earned a 56-34 victory.
Crawford went up 18-9 early and led 33-21 at half-time of the boys’ contest and didn’t let up in the second half, outscoring their opponent 37-19. The Rams had three other players in double digits: Roman Metz and Carter Rudloff each had 13 points, while Rhett Flack chipped in 12. Rudloff earned the double-double, pulling down 18 rebounds off the glass.
In the girls’ game, the Rams shut-out Guernsey-Sunrise 9-0 in the first quarter and extended their lead to 24-9 at the break. Crawford netted a 21-12 run in the third quarter, while Guernsey-Sunrise won the fourth with a 13-11 showing. Klein was the only player in double digits; Peyton Osmotherly led the Rams with eight rebounds.
