The year after winning the class 11B state championship the Hot Springs Bison snuck into the playoffs with a 4-4 record the SDHSAA announced Saturday afternoon. The Bison started their season losing to Winner 36-0 but after a back and forth season the Bison claimed the second to last spot as the 15 seed.
The Bison will rematch with Winner who chimes in as the two seed. The game will be in Winner on Friday with the victor to play either Roncalli out of Aberdeen or Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central.
