The Nebraska baseball team ended the regular season Saturday with a 6-4 win at Purdue. The teams traded the lead until the Huskers went on top for good in the 4th.
Nebraska hit 2 home runs to stretch their school-record season total to 95 with Max Anderson getting his 21st of the season and Big Ten conference season record 15th.
The Huskers finish the regular season 31-21-1 overall and all alone in 4th in the conference at 15-9, making them the 2nd seed in the Big Tournament.
       The tournament starts Tuesday in Omaha, but Nebraska’s first game isn’t until Wednesday at noon when they play 5th seeded Rutgers.
The winner gets the winner of the game between #1 Maryland and #8 Michigan State in a game Thursday at 5:00. The losers will meet in an elimination game that morning at 11:00
