Ira James Brown Bull, Sr. was born on April 17, 1985 in Pine Ridge, SD to Harold Brown Bull and Mona Mesteth. Ira made his journey to the Spirit World on July 29, 2024 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Ira is survived by his father, Harold Brown Bull; wife, Jodie Waters; children, Mariah Brown Bull, Rosalyn Brown Bull, Ira Brown Bull, Jr., Mya Brown Bull, Gabriella Brown Bull, Isabella Brown Bull, Andrea Brown Bull, Angel Brown Bull, Jada Brown Bull, and Dominic Brown Bull; brother, Jackson Mesteth; sisters, Miranda Brown Bull, Sara Brown Bull, Rachel Brown Bull, Selena Tobacco, and Aleigha Louden; aunts, Pearl Little Whiteman, Geraldine Brown Bull, Karen Red Elk, Gloria No Neck, Eva Mesteth, and Erna Shepard; uncles, Donnie Mesteth and Darrell Brown Bull, Sr.; granddaughter, Alannah White Crane; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Ira was preceded in death by his mother, Mona Mesteth; children, Isabelle Brown Bull and Antonio Brown Bull; brothers, Harold Brown Bull, Jr., Emmett Brown Bull, and Eric Brown Bull; paternal grandparents, Jerome Brown Bull and Vera Turning Hawk-Brown Bull; maternal grandparents, Georgia Tail and Matthew Mesteth; cousins, TJ and Mike Mesteth, Shilo Pourier, Kyle Mesteth; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers will be Alberto Solomon, Jr., Michael Soloman, John Waters, Anthony Waters, Asah Mendoza, Ted Little Whiteman, Justin Rooks, Sr., Darrell Locke, Jr., Travis Mesteth, and Paul Apple.
