
It’s the start of school season again in the Northern Panhandle. Hay Springs, which uses a 4-day week, had its first day last Thursday while today is the first day for the Sioux County Schools.
     Chadron, Crawford, and Gordon-Rushville all begin classes on Thursday with half-days. Chadron and Crawford are both half in-service for all staff today through Wednesday.Â
Classes at Chadron State College begin next Monday with new student orientation starting this Thursday.
