Funeral services for 39-year old Jacob Arapahoe are Friday, April 19, 2024 at 1:00 at the Allen CAP Office in Allen, SD, with Father Ron Seminara, SJ, officiating and traditional Lakota services by Keith Horse Looking
Burial is in the Plenty Bear Family Cemetery in Allen.
A one-night wake service starts Thurs, April 18, at 3:00 at the Allen CAP Office with evening services at 7:00.

Jacob Quentin Arapahoe was born on April 29, 1984 in Pine Ridge, SD to Webster Joseph Arapahoe, Sr. and Maureen Lottie Last Horse. Jacob made his journey to the Spirit World on April 7, 2024 in Rapid City, SD.
Jacob is survived by his siblings Maxine Broken Nose of Pine Ridge, SD, Madeline Plenty Arrows of Rapid City, SD, Matthew Last Horse of Kyle, SD, Joseph Arapahoe and Victor Arapahoe both of Sioux Falls, SD, Justina Arapahoe of Box Elder, SD, Webster (Antoine) Arapahoe and Charlotte Alula both of Sioux Falls, SD, Ina Curly, Rose Curly, Lenora Hawk Eagle, all of Eagle Butte, SD, and Ruben Crow Feather of Los Angeles, CA; hunka son Louis Iron Cloud; hunka daughter Amanda Rose; hunka mom Irene Lechuga (Benson) of Eagle Butte, SD; aunts Darlene Black Feather and Joyce Last Horse.
Jacob was preceded in death by his parents Webster Joseph Arapahoe Sr and Maureen Lottie Last Horse; and sister Jolynn Alice Arapahoe.
