Funeral services for 44-year old Janelle Tobacco are Wed, April 7, 2021 at noon at the Advent Church near Pine Ridge, SD
Burial will be at the Advent Cemetery in Pine Ridge.
Visitation precedes the funeral from 10:00 to noon, also at the Advent Church
Janelle Lisa Tobacco was born on January 2, 1977 in Pine Ridge, SD to Calvin P. Tobacco and Velvedene Linda American Horse-Tobacco. Janelle made her journey to the Spirit World on March 29, 2021 at her home in Pine Ridge, SD.
Janelle is survived by her sons, Calen J. Tobacco and Anthony R. Long, Jr., both of Pine Ridge, SD; and siblings, Velvedene (Rowayne) Wounded Horse and Calvert (Missy) Tobacco, both of Pine Ridge, SD, Eldon (Priscilla) Tobacco of Rapid City, SD and Ivan Tobacco of Oglala, SD.
Janelle was preceded in death by her parents, Velvedene Linda American Horse-Tobacco and Calvin P. “Scoop” Tobacco; paternal grandparents, Vincent Tobacco, Sr. and Irene Wounded-Tobacco; maternal grandparents, Albert American Horse, Sr. and Mary Ribsman-American Horse; sister, Michelle L. Tobacco; and daughter, Samantha R. Tobacco.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Tobacco, Adrian Mills, Terry Mills and Justes Scott.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends & Relatives.
