Janese Marie (Steele) Provost “Owaci Iyoyampa Win” was born on January 30, 1983 in Gordon, NE to Timothy and Colleen (LaDeaux) Steele. Janese made her journey to the Spirit World on May 20, 2022 in Pine Ridge, SD.
Janese is survived by her spouse, Irving Provost, Jr.; children, Troy Red Cloud and Timarie Looks Twice; brothers, Harry John Steele, Joshua Steele, Garfield Steele, and Eldwin Steele; sisters, Tamara Steele, Sheila Steele, Stevie LaDeaux, Wilene Little Dog, Carly Clifford, Jessica LaDeaux, Kayla Mousseaux, Monique Mousseaux, Veronica Romero, Carolyn Romero, Sherry Twiss, Lucy Mousseaux; and one grandchild, Keith Red Cloud.
Janese was preceded in death by her father, Timothy Steele; grandparents, Samuel LaDeaux, Lucy (Janis) LaDeaux, William Steele, and Margaret Steele; and her brother, Rodney W. LaDeaux.
Pallbearers will be Ana Garibaldi, Olowan Runs Against, Kandee DeSersa, Erica Ghost, Sherri Palmier, Twila Keester, Candy Apple, Crystal Steele, Denise Jumping Eagle, Mandi Hollow Horn, Franki Steele, and Melanne Apple.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
