Jeannette Goldie Eagle Hawk was born on August 21, 1955 in Pine Ridge, SD to Chris Emmett Eagle Hawk and Edith (Fights Over) Eagle Hawk. Jeanette made her journey to the Spirit World on January 31, 2022 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Jeannette is survived by her special friend, Phillip Tru Brings White; daughters, Bobbi Long Soldier, Edith Looks Twice, and Mariah Black Tail Deer; sons, Chris Janis, Bernard Yankton, Antoine Long Soldier, Paco and Pedro the Vato’s; aunties, Bernice White Hawk, Gloria Garbiay, and Kathy No Moccasin; siblings, Kathy, Delphine, Rydell, Romay Eagle Hawk; Kathy High Hawk, Albert Horned Antelope, Fred Mernard, and Hobart Yankton; grandchildren, Tashanee, Jalen, Donroy, & Kansas Titus, Sage LaDeaux, Cante & Cetan Long Soldier, Elijah Wright, Heska & Wichapi Yankton, Mya Eagle Hawk, and Elania Bring White; and great grandchildren, Donroy Titus III, Braxton Titus, Maphiya Looks Twice, Tru & Ensley Brings White, Alucard Wolf Black, and Mercedes LaDeaux.
Jeannette was preceded in death by her mother, Edith (Fights Over) Eagle Hawk; father, Chris Emmett Eagle Hawk; paternal grandparents, Raymond & Lousia Cut Grass; maternal grandparents, Edward & Fannie Mountain Sheep Fights Over; son, Warren Eagle Hawk-Jains; sister, Linda Eagle Hawk; siblings, Cordell Eagle Hawk, Thurman Eagle Hawk, Howard Bad Bear, Grover Horned Antelope, Jr., Sidney Christian Apple, Felicia Eagle Hawk, Eugene & Jessie Killsree Eagle Hawk, Dora No Moccasin, Alice Swimmer, Darell Martinez, and Kirby White Hawk; niece, Lynette Goggles; and nephew, Ivan Goggles, Jr.
