Jewel Faye (White Bull) Lemay was born on September 27, 1949 in Pine Ridge, SD to Issac White Bull, Sr. and Avena Martha (Chips) White Bull.  Faye made her journey to the Spirit World on September 26, 2024 at her home in White River, SD.

Faye married Pierre Lemay, Sr. in November of 1970 and to this union came Martha, Pierre, Jr. (deceased) Pierre, III, Darla, Candace, Jason, Joel, Jessie, and Daniel (deceased) Lemay.  Faye is survived by her brothers Melvin โ€œChoppaโ€ White Bull, Sr., Calvin, Ernest, and Howard Red Elk; sisters, Sylvia Brown, Mae White Bull, Rose Standing Bear, and Mabel Red Kettle; grandchildren, Daniel, Ethan, Danae, Jayden, Andrew, Kaydence, Taeleigh, Joab, Ryleigh, Liam, Jolee, and Swayze Lemay; and great granddaughter, Lilliana Lemay.

Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Pierre Lemay, Sr.; sons, Daniel Lemay and Pierre Andrew Lemay, Jr.; father, Isaac White Bull; mother, Martha (Chips) White Bull; sisters, Isabelle Brown; and brothers, Isaac White Bull, Jr., George (JoJo) White Bull, and Boyd White Bull.

Pallbearers will be Justin Engle, Brian Sitting Up, Danae Lemay, Kaydence Lemay, Bradley Standing Bear, Pete Lemay, Jason Lemay, Jewel Moore, Ethan Lemay, and Richard Wells.

Wake Services: Two night wake service with the first night at the Lemay Residence in White River, SD starting at 12:30 PM, MT, Saturday, October 5, 2024 with evening services at 7:00 PM, MT and the second night wake starting at 1:00 PM, MT, Sunday, October 6, 2024 at the TNT Center in Wanblee, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM, MT.

Funeral Services: 8:00 AM, Monday, October 7, 2024 at the TNT Center in Wanblee, SD

Traditional Lakota Services: Richard Moves Camp

Burial Services: 12:30 PM, Monday, October 7, 2024 at the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, SD
