John Arnold Bad Wound was born on January 31, 1952 in Pine Ridge, SD to James Bad Wound and Agnes (Fire Thunder) Bad Wound. John made his journey to the Spirt World on August 16, 2022 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
John is survived by his children, Tori Bad Wound-Moore and John Bad Wound; sister, Ella Day Richards, grandchildren, Aubrey Lynn Bad Wound, Isabelle Day Bad Wound, Kailah Bad Wound-Moore, Kiely Moore, Levi Senior, and Margaret Osborne; uncle, Russell Whirlwind Horse; nieces & nephew, Peter Donovon Senior, Jaime Berlynn Senior, Antoinette Poafabitty, Gayla Loafer, and Patty Bad Wound, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, & cousins.
John was preceded in death by his parents, James and Agnes Bad Wound; brothers, Jimmy Charles Bad Wound and Marvin Bad Wound; sister, Mary Ann Bad Wound; and numerous nieces, nephews, & relatives.
Pallbearers will be Robert Red Shirt, Terry Livermont, Tm Wardell, Mike Whirlwind Horse, Anthony Waters, Thomas Waters, Alex Leal, and Albert Salomon.
Honorary pallbearers will be all Pass Creek Elderly Council, family, friends & relatives.
