John Kubo was born January 13, 1964 to Billy John and Jenny Kubo as Chadron’s first New Years Eve baby of 1964 and passed away on August 30, 2024.
John was a friend to many and a known local to the Chadron and Crawford area. John worked in the power generation industry for many years covering many of the western states.
John is proceeded in death by his father Billy John Kubo and is survived by his mother Jenny Wassenburger of Rapid City SD, his son Zach Kubo of Chadron, his siblings Gary Kubo of Fort Collins Co, Monte Kubo of Rapid City SD, Tim Kubo of Rapid City SD, Kristy Ann Durfee of Sundance WY, Tracy Henderickson of MT and Twyla (Kubo) Schilling of Crawford. John is also survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family. John will be missed by his friends and family.
Services will be held at the Methodist Church and will begin at 11 AM on Saturday September 28, 2024. The services for John Keith Kubo and his beloved mother Jennie Wanda Wasserburger will be held together. A celebration of life luncheon will be held after services at the Methodist Church.
