John Paul Red Cloud “Sungwacipi Hoksila” was born on August 8, 1986 in Pine Ridge, SD to Michael Bissonette Sr and Michelle Red Cloud. John Paul made his journey to the Spirit World on Feb 7, 2023 at his home near Manderson, SD.
John Paul is survived by his mother Michelle Red Cloud; father Mike Bissonette; children Beverly Black Eyes, John Paul Red Cloud Jr, Katerine, Gloria, and Michael Hollow Horn; spouse Tiara Lynn Clifford; and siblings Loretta Red Cloud, Warren Red Cloud, Linsey Touche’, TJ Little Dog, Robert Little Dog, BJ Little Dog, Eric Little Dog, Taylor Clifford, and Zaylor Kills Enemy.
John Paul was preceded in death by his grandparents Oliver Red Cloud, Rudolph Bissonette, Valeria Apple, Stella Apple, Levi Apple, Madeline Little Dog-Bissonette; and sister, Samantha Touche’.
Pallbearers will be Steven Black Tail Deer, Robert Killz, William Little Dog, Henry Clifford, Anthony Gomez, Charlie Waters Jr, Eric Kills Enemy At Night, Robert Little Dog, Darrell Cottier, Gerald “Cisco” Cottier, and Donald Yellow Horse Jr.
