John Thomas White Eyes III “Anpetu Theca Hoksila” was born on May 20, 1951 in Rapid City, SD to John White Eyes, Jr. and Florine Twiss-White Eyes. John made his journey to the Spirit World on September 6, 2023 in Colorado Springs, CO.
John is survived by his daughter Julie (Jim Brown) White Eyes; significant other Roxie Hitt; brother Lee (Yvonne) DeCory; nieces & nephews Kathy Thompson, Doni DeCory, Darrell Eagle Bull, and Rita Moran; and numerous cousins.
John was preceded in death by his parents John White Eyes Jr and Florine Twiss-White Eyes; sister Mary Lou White Eyes; nephew Ricky Thompson; uncles Levi Twiss, Lawrence Twiss, Calvin Twiss, and David Twiss; and aunt Cecelia Perez.
Pallbearers will be Roger White Eyes, Richard White Eyes, Teton Saltes, Adonis Saltes, Tony Clifford, Robert White Eyes, Jamie Perez, and Harry Evans V.
Honorary pallbearers will be Renae Carrillo & Family, Helena “Babe” White Eyes & Family, Kathy Thompson & Family, Arlene Twiss & Family, Twiss Family, all friends & relatives.
