Burial is at the Youngman Afraid of His Horse Family Cemetery in #4 Community, SD

A one-night wake service starts Tues, Sept 6, at 4:30 at the Makasan Presbyterian Church Hall in Oglala, SD

Jordan Peter Tobacco was born on April 25, 1976 in Pine Ridge, SD to Ole Tobacco and Anita Dreaming Bear. Jordan made his journey to the Spirit World on August 30, 2022 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Jordan is survived by his mother Goldie Tobacco; daughter Toni Rae Slockish; son Anthony High Pipe Jr; siblings William, Billie Rose, Toni, Sodi, and Kelly Pulliam; aunts Esther Black Elk and Lisa Jo Walker-Mason; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and cousins.

Jordan was preceded in death by his parents Ole Tobacco and Anita Dreaming Bear; sisters Tanya and Iva Tobacco; grandparents Iva Black Elk, Doreen Little Sack, Rudolph Tobacco and Victor Dreaming Bear; aunt Lillian Tobacco; and uncles Abraham Tobacco, Gary Tobacco, and Leonard Protector.

Pallbearers will be Evans Youngman, Danny Tobacco, Bradley Tobacco, Willie Wounded Jr, Cole Fast Wolf, Waylen Ghost Bear, Mark Weston, Ares Wolfe, Harold Good Voice Flute, Mike Warrior, Vern Weston, Jr., Willie Wounded Sr, and Gavin Youngman.
