Journey Joy Whitepipe, stillborn infant daughter to Krystal Lakota and Dalton Whitepipe, was born and passed away on July 11, 2023 at the Pine Ridge I.H.S. Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD.
Journey is survived by her mother Krystal Lakota; father Dalton Whitepipe; siblings Alayah Hawk Wing, Elijah Hawk Wing, Niveyah Lakota, Myannah Lakota, and Dalton Whitepipe Jr; maternal grandparents Harriet and Chauncy White Face; paternal great-grandmother Marilyn White; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Journey was preceded in death by her grandparents Audrey Lakota, Willard Eagle Bear, Lester Cortier, Kevin Two Bulls, and Maynard & Lila Cortier; and cousin Jeremiah Lakota.
Pallbearers will be Alayah Hawk Wing, Elijah Hawk Wing, Niveyah Lakota, and Dalton Whitepipe Jr.
