Funeral services for 70-year old Julia Randall are Tues, Jan 23, 2024 at 1:00 at the TNT Center in Wanblee, SD, with Ms Joyce Tibbitts officiating and traditional Lakota services by Mr Richard Moves Camp

Cremation will follow the services

A one-night wake service starts Monday, Jan 22, at 1:00 at the TNT Center in Wanblee with evening services at 7:00.

Julia Sarah Randall “Oyate Waokiye Win” was born on July 6, 1953 in Hisle, SD to Joseph Randall and Marie Brush Breaker-Randall.  Julia made her journey to the Spirit World on Jan 14, 2024 at the Hans Peterson Memorial Hospital in Philip, SD.

Julia is survived by her children Anson, Gary Jr, Taneal, Brianna, Brennan, and Kaitlyn; grandchildren Riverson, Quentin, Colton, Paige, Alex, Cheyne, Truman, Caleb, Connor, Kylie, Teija, and Tyra; great-grandchildren AmeriKis, Kelby, Rancelyn, Keion, Tabor, Brilyn, Kyrin, Reyna, Reagan, Kaiser, Kashton, Xander, Caidence, Zaylei, and Nalaya; siblings Ron “Beef”, Gloria, Joanne, Agnes, Reynold Todd, Edward, and Martha; and numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives.

Julia was preceded in death by her husband Gary Blue Legs Sr; parents Joseph and Marie Randall; sons Rance Blue Legs and Perry Hawkins; grandchildren Danielle and Cale Randall; great-grandchildren Ryken and T’Ailani; and brothers Virgil Randall Sr, and Wayne Randall.

Pallbearers will be Reynold Todd Randall, Anson Randall, Gary Blue Legs Jr, Brennan High Horse, Rodney Randall, Christopher Long Soldier, Louis “Mesun” Young, and Sylvester Two Bulls.

Honorary pallbearers will be Colton Randall, Tucker Randall, Daryl Mesteth Jr, John Wooden Knife, Virgil Randall Jr, Stacey Blue Legs, Clara Bald Eagle, Sheena Running, Melody Sitting Up, Ben Black Elk, Jewel Moore, Rena Knox, Orlinda Long Soldier, Myles Randall Estes, Ben Rhodd, Yankton Family, All Hunka Daughters & Sons, and all friends & relatives.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the Kadoka Ambulance Services-Nikki, Lori, and Amy as well as the Hans Peterson Memorial Hospital Staff.
