During the month of July 2024, twenty-five people were killed in traffic crashes on Nebraska roadways, according to data collected by the Nebraska Department of Transportation.

ยจ These 25 fatalities occurred in 23 fatal crashes.
ยจย ย ย ย ย ย Six of the sixteen vehicle occupants killed were not using seatbelts, seven were using a seatbelt, and three had seatbelt usage marked as unknown.
ยจ Nineteen of the fatalities were in rural locations*.
ยจ There was one fatality on the interstate, nineteen on other highways, and five on local roads.
ยจ Two of the fatalities were pedestrians.
ยจ Six of the fatalities were motorcyclists.
ยจ One fatality was on an electric motor scooter.
