Funeral services for 19-year old Jyles Salomon Sat, Sep 17, 2022 at 10:00 at the Salomon Ranch east of Allen, SD, with traditional Lakota Services by Julius Not Afraid

Burial is at the Salomon Family Cemetery in Allen, SD

A two-night wake service starts Thurs, Sept 15, at 10:00 at the Salomon Ranch.

Jyles Lee Salomon was born on September 30, 2002 in Gordon, NE to Cody Hopkins and Anna Salomon – Halverson. Jyles made his journey to the Spirit World on September 8, 2022 at the Bennett County Hospital in Martin, SD.

Jyles is survived by his mother, Anna (Drew) Halverson; father, Cody Hopkins; maternal grandparents, Alberto & Donna Salomon; especial guardians, Heron “Joe” and MaryLu; paternal grandmother, Connie Hopkins; siblings, Stefonna and Alasandra Salomon, Drew II and Colt Halverson; grandparents, Marcelina, Eusabio, Gabriella III and Fabian Salomon-Sanchez, Stephanie (DJ), Katherine, Marty, John, Tom, and Anthony Waters, Arlene Hopkins, Myron “Chico” DuBray, and Eddie “Boone” DuBray; aunts, Deanna Hopkins, Lynette & Lodi Quick Bear; uncles, Albert, Leonardo, and Michael Salomon; maternal cousins, Marianna, Shamirra, River, Antonio, Michael Riley, August, Amara, Alberto III,; special pets, Bella, Red Thunder and Early Dancer; and so many more beloved relatives.

Jyles was preceded in death by his relatives: Miguel & Manuela Salomon-Sanchez, Leroy & Emma Waters, Stephen Raymond Hopkins & Anna Mae DuBray, Gabriela I & Alberto Salomon I, Phillip Waters, Louis Means, Brian Waters, Jessie Renae Waters, Wilbert Means, Junior Waters, Carlos Hopkins, Carl Hopkins, MaryLou DuBray, and Clement “Porky” DuBray.
