Karyn Rose Tobacco was born on May 21, 1962 in Pine Ridge, SD to Vincent Tobacco, Sr. and Irene Wounded-Tobacco. Karyn made her journey to the Spirit World on October 21, 2024 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Karyn is survived by her significant other, Gary Little Hawk, Sr.; sister, Regina โ€œDonutโ€ Tobacco; children, Aaron (Mariah) Dreamer, Tessa Dreamer, and Cory Tobacco; grandchildren, Ariana, Percy, Jalean, Antwon, Jordon, Taylor, Santana, Aden; great granddaughter, Kyโ€™Mani; nieces and nephews, Kerry Brave Heart, Mike, Felicia, Cassie Warrior & Kids, Curtis, Brayden, Julius, Hailey, Germaine Tobacco, Darrell III, Anissa, Rodney, Andre, Ciara, Tomas, Shelly Warrior-Goings, Nona Warrior, Chad Tobacco, D.J. Warrior; cousins, Maggie Wounded, Candi Red Cloud, Ann Tobacco, Dorothy Tobacco, Steve Tobacco, Heather Poor Bear & Family, and Sylvia Tobacco.

Karyn was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent Tobacco, Sr. and Irene Wounded-Tobacco; siblings, Calvin, Henriette Cross Dog, Roger, Bernadette, Harold and Dugan Tobacco; nieces, Lisa Tobacco, Cora Warrior, Rosie Tobacco, Leigha Tobacco, Patricia โ€œWinkโ€ Running Hawk, Nola Tobacco, Stephanie Tobacco and Janelle Tobacco; nephews, Dale Catches, Jr., Joseph Catches, Wayland Tobacco, Harold & Buddy Tobacco, Jesse Warrior, Terrence Waters, Manuel Tobacco, Sr., and Tom โ€œGooseโ€ Tobacco; and grandson, Aries Jude Dreamer.

Pallbearers will be Calvert โ€œC.L.โ€ Tobacco, Germaine Tobacco, Sean Tobacco, Dale โ€œD.J.โ€ Warrior, Jr., Chad Tobacco, Eldon โ€œBeatโ€ Tobacco, Sammy D. Nelson and Marcus Red Cloud

Wake Services:ย  Two night wake services with the first night starting at 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Joyner Hall and the second night starting at starting at 12:00 PM, Sunday, November 3, 2024 at the #4 Payabaya Community Building with evening services starting at 7:00 PM each night with Rosary services being held Saturday evening. Military Roll Call to follow evening services on Sunday.ย ย ย ย
