Funeral services for 65-year old Katherine Cottier are Wed, Sept 7, 2022 at 1:00 at St Agnes Catholic Church in Manderson, SD, with Ms Joyce Tibbitts and Father Edmund Yainao, SJ, officiating.
Burial is in the church cemetery.
A one-night wake service starts Tues, Sept 6, at 3:00 at St Agnes Catholic Church with evening services starting at 7:00
Katherine Cecelia Cottier was born on October 23, 1956 in Pine Ridge, SD to Bert Cottier Sr and Mary (Flying Hawk) Cottier. Katherine made her journey to the Spirit World on August 30, 2022 at her home in Pine Ridge, SD.
Katherine is survived by her children Kenneth Cottier, Stephanie Cottier, Darrell Spotted Elk Jr, and Francis Spotted Elk; sisters Rose Cottier, Alberta Cottier, and Loretta Cottier; brother Bert Cottier Jr; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Katherine was preceded in death by her parents Bert & Mary (Flying Hawk) Cottier; granddaughter Ashley Spotted Elk; and uncle Jerry Cottier.
Pallbearers will be Lester Flying Hawk, Johnny Joe Boerschig, Jovon Spotted Elk, Darren Spotted Elk, Kit Cottier, Craig Cottier, TJ Elk Boy, Wesley Cottier Jr, and Brandi Cottier.
Honorary pallbearers will be all Friends & Relatives.
