     Flood Communications, owned by Nebraska Congressman Mike Flood of Norfolk, has purchased Twister Radio of Gordon and Valentine from Jim and Deneen Lambley.
Jim Lambley, known for his conservative commentaries, is retiring.
The purchase gives Flood Communications 18 radio stations and 7 low-power tv stations across the state operating News Channel Nebraska, which will now open a Sandhills News Bureau.
The company also operates the Telemundo Nebraska news service and Radio Lobo, the region’s first Hispanic music and information station.
