The Crawford Lady Rams went 0-2 in the first week of January basketball action.
Despite a better second half against Edgemont Jan. 4, the Lady Rams lost the contest 55-50 after getting outscored 16-6 in the opening period. Edgemont still led by 10 at halftime. Crawford put together runs of 17-13 and 17-16 in the second half but fell short of finding the win.
Two days later, the Lady Rams dropped a 48-35 game to Morrill. The Lions raced out to a 15-8 lead and extended that to 28-18 at halftime. Morrill continued to outpace the Rams, adding 20 to the board in the second half and holding the Rams to 17.
Stats for the Lady Rams are not yet available. Crawford is now 6-5 on the season.
