The Crawford Lady Rams ended the regular season with a loss to Hay Springs Thursday 59-26. The 18-3 Hawks dominated the game from the start, leading 20-12 after one quarter. Hay Springs extended their lead in the second with an 18-2 run over the Rams and tacked on 21 more points in the second half.
The Crawford girls will face number two Morrill Tuesday in D1-12 sub-district action. Tip off is set for 5 p.m. at South Platte. The winner of the Crawford-Morrill contest will face the winner of the South Platte-Kimball game on Feb. 16 for a chance to advance to the district finals. The Rams take a 9-13 record into the post-season.
The Crawford boys also lost to Hay Springs, dropping a close contest 49-40. The Rams have one final regular season game against Hemingford Feb. 17.
