The last of the four finalists to be the next Vice President for Academic Affairs at Chadron State College makes her campus visit today.
Dr Kimberly Paddock-O’Reilly will have interviews with the search committee and a meeting with CSC President Dr Ron Patterson and his Cabinet as well as separate forums with representatives of faculty, staff, and students..
Paddock-O’Reilly is co-founder of KPL Coaching, which works with companies, organizations, and individuals to grow and improve executives by helping them be more collaborative and support, but had an extensive career in academia before that.
She was at Logan University for 8 years in a variety of administrative posts ending in Provost and Professor, and spent 2 years at Salem University as Dean of Online Education and Associate Vice President for New Programs.
Paddock-O’Reilly spent 7 years in the College of Health Sciences at A-T Still University in Kirksville, MO, in positions that included associate professor and Associate Dean, Vice Dean, and Dean.
She was also at ITT Technical Institute in Indiana as Academic Success Coordinator with responsibilities for training and hiring new faculty.
Paddock-O’Reilly has 5 degrees: one bachelors, 3 masters, and a doctorate in Health Education from A-T Still University.
The first two finalists interviewed were Oklahoma Panhandle State Vice President Dr Theresa Billioti and former Adams State Vice President Dr Kent Buchanan, who made their visits two weeks ago
Dr Matthew Redinger of the University of Providence in Montana was on campus Tuesday.
Dr Jim Powell is retiring after 9 years at Chadron State and 4 years as Vice President of Academic Affairs, sometimes referred to as provost.
