Latimer & Robinson Named To All-Midland Team

Bryce Latimer and Josh Robinson have both been named to the NCAA Division II All-Midlands Team, the Omaha World Herald announced.

Latimer, a junior from Stone Mountain, Georgia, and Robinson, a junior from Paris, Texas, join Nate Mohr and Jordan Janssen from Wayne State and Darrian Nebeker from UNK on the team.

Isaiah Wyatt earned honorable mention for Chadron State.

Robinson averaged 13.9 points and 8.3 rebounds a game while helping CSC to their first winning record since 2001-02.

The Eagles, who finished 19-10 overall and 16-6 in conference play, used Latimer as their sixth man. Latimer finished the season averaging 15.2 points.

A 43-point performance against South Dakota Mines was a highlight for Latimer during the season.

Robinson was named to the RMAC First-Team and Latimer to the second-team at the conclusion of the season.

The honorary captain of the D-II team is Wayne State senior Janssen, who averaged 19.9 points and 8.1 rebounds a game and scored double figures in 27 of 28 games before being injured late in the season.

Janssen finished his career as Wayne State’s all-time leader in scoring (2,104 points) and rebounding (1,146).
