Latrell Anthony Tayle was born on May 16, 1998 in Gordon, NE to Latrell Sierra and Catherine American Horse. Latrell made his journey to the Spirit World on August 2, 2026 in Rapid City, SD.
Latrell is survived by his father, Latrell Sierra; mother, Catherine American Horse; son, Latrell “LJ” Garnett; brother, Terrell Tayle; sister, Sage American Horse; grandmother, Florence Sierra; grandfather, Eugene American Horse; uncles, Randy Tayle, Elton Tail, Loren Tail, Alfonso American Horse, Mike Love Joy, Aaron American Horse, and Mitch Long, Jr.; and aunts, Jennifer Long, Ruby Tail, Raelene Bianas, Erlene Tail, and Corrine Sierra.
Latrell was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ernest White Eagle; grandmother, Barbara American horse; aunt, Carla American Horse; and great-great Caroline “Cora” Swallow.
Pallbearers will be Mario Standing Bear, Jr., Loren Tail, Gunnar Cross, Tony Lawrence, Ranzle Lays Bad, Chayton American Horse, Jesus Garnette, and Enrique Ramos.
Honorary pallbearers will be all his Friends & Relatives that knew him.
Wake Services: One night wake service starting at 2:30 PM, Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at the Swallow Family Sundance Grounds near Porcupine, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM
