The Chadron Fire Department responded to a car fire Sunday afternoon.
Fire Chief Branden Martens said the department sent two trucks and made quick work of the fire in the 800 block of West Hills Terrace with suppression foam. The fire was reported around 2 p.m. by a Chadron State College student who said he was having problems with his car. Fuel leaking in the engine compartment and caused the blaze, Martens said.
There were no injuries reported.
