A Lincoln couple was killed just after noon Tuesday in a traffic accident in the Panhandle on Link 62 A near its junction with Hwy 385.
The Morrill County Sheriff’s Office says the accident occurred when a westbound car passed a semi, then tried to make a left turn. The truck was unable to stop in time and hit the rear of the car.
Killed were the occupants of the car, 75-year old William Glaesmann and 74-year old Joyce Glaesmann
The truck driver, 46-year old Victor Hernandez of New Mexico, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
