Louis Delane Moves Camp was born on July 25, 1952 in Pine Ridge, SD to James Moves Camp and Ellen (Sitting Up) Winters. Louis made his journey to the Spirit World on October 27, 2023 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Louis is survived by his daughters, Janine Moves Camp, Dorothy Moves Camp, Sharla Good Swimmer, Melanie Mclean, Tina Moves Camp, Leona Moves Camp, and Tasunka Witko Win Moves Camp; sisters, Germaine Moves Camp, Anita Brown, Evelyn Moves Camp, and Linda Yellow Elk; brother, Sam Moves Camp; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, & nephews.
Louis was preceded in death by his parents, James Moves Camp and Ellen (Sitting Up) Winters; son, Dennis Ben Moves Camp; daughter, Miriam Moves Camp; sisters, Esther Moves Camp and Pearl Dull Knife; and brothers, Vernon Moves Camp, James Dean Moves Camp, Michael Anthony Moves Camp, and Robert Ewenin.
Pallbearers will be Vaughn Janis, Howard Janis, Christopher Larson, Chris One Spot, Darren One Spot, Julian One Spot, Alphonso Leroy, Allan Smith, Ken Youngman, and Chance Winters.
