Madeline A Mesteth was born June 30,1980 at the Pine Ridge Old Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD to Marvin J Mesteth & Emma J Swimmer. Madeline made her journey to the spirit world on April 20, 2024 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City SD.
Madeline is survived by her two children Emily R Mesteth of Wyoming and Ethan C Mesteth of Kyle, SD; brothers John Swimmer of Rushville, NE, Melvin “Hoksila” Mesteth, and Nathan Mesteth of Manderson; sister Elaine Mesteth of Manderson, SD; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews; and special friend Denver Wounded of Kyle.
Madeline was preceded in death by her father Marvin J Mesteth; mother Emma J Swimmer; brother Manuel Mesteth; sister Delores Mesteth; grandmothers Rosa Broken Leg and Rosie Little Dog; grandfathers Joseph Swimmer and Jacob Mesteth; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers will be Jesse L White Hawk, Kevin Ramos Jr, Johnson Bear Robe, Sean Red Elk, Leon Brave Heart, and Alan Reddy.
