Manson James made his journey on Christmas night at his grandmother’s home Sylvia Red Cloud’s residence in Old Crazy Horse.

From day one Manson was his dad’s best friend. Manson started Head Start in 2010 to 2013. In 2014 he started his journey at Wolf Creek Elementary from kindergarten to 8th grade. In May of 2022 Manson graduated 8th grade at Wolf Creek where he earned the name George Medicine Bear. Manson started his freshman year at Lakota Tech where he made even more friends. This year 2023 to 2024 Manson made the team mighty Pine Ridge Thorpes where he was so eager to play. George aka Manson started playing ball at a young age. He started with peewee basketball and moved on to baseball. Manson’s summers were filled with baseball, hanging out with his cousins, driving his go cart, riding his dirt bike or his four-wheeler around town. Manson also loved to fish at the nearest water hole. You could always find him with Rosie Beane or Dakota Hard Heart.
Manson enjoyed playing baseball with the Super Sonics. He was a bad ass pitcher. He moved on to play with the Blue Jays and this past summer played with all his cousins on the Mudcats coached by his grandma Rose and cousin Ty’Russ. Throughout his sports career his mother and father were always there to support him. After his dads fall, Manson was always there to help his best friend. Manson was known for just strolling up to just hang out with his family.
