Margaret Viola (Little Soldier) Belt was born on November 10, 1934 in Pine Ridge, SD to Charles Little Soldier and Keva Good Soldier. Margaret made her journey to the Spirit World on August 29, 2024 at the Avantara Mountain View Nursing Home in Rapid City, SD.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Martina Morrison; grandchildren, Berlyn Ghost, Boyd Ghost, and Cornell Belt; great grandchildren, Calvin Belt and Cote Belt; and nieces & nephews, Amy Belt, Alton Little Soldier-Belt, Lena Belt, Michelle Belt, Pamela Belt, Alphonso Belt, Jr., Henry “Hank” Belt, Craig Powell, Merton Belt, Lisa Two Bulls, Harold Two Bulls, Patrick Two Bulls, and Leo Two Bulls.
Margaret was preceded in death by parents Charles and Keva (Good Soldier) Little Soldier; spouse, Franklin Belt; sister, Sarah Lou Little Soldier-Belt; brother, Burgess Little Soldier; uncles, Rudolph Little Soldier and Bates Charles Little Soldier; aunts, Alice Little Soldier, Daisy Little Soldier, Jennie Little Soldier, Nellie Little Solider, and Maggie Little Soldier.
Pallbearers will be Alton Belt, Alphonso Belt, Jr., Henry Belt, Pat Two Bulls, Orin Morrison, Robert Morrison, Merton Belt, and Kevin Belt.
Honorary pallbearers will be Franky Rapp, and all friends & relatives.
