Marvin James Apple, Jr. “Elunhcaka” was born on April 14, 1981 in Pine Ridge, SD to Marvin James Apple, Sr. and Lorna (Janis) Apple. Marvin made his journey to the Spirit World on September 14, 2024 at his home in Kyle, SD.
Marvin is survived by his father, Marvin Apple, Sr.; son, Dale Apple; brothers, Mark Apple, Charles Apple, Chester Apple and Maurice Apple; sister, Toni Apple; hunka sisters, Eileen Apple, Crystal Apple and Kimberly Apple; grandsons, Justice Shangreaux, Kyson Shangreaux, Josiah Apple, and Khlaio Apple.
Marvin was preceded in death by his mother, Lorna (Janis) Apple; maternal grandparents, Beatrice (White Weasel) Janis and Chester Benjamin Janis; paternal grandparents, Dora (Big Boy) Apple and Anthony Apple; aunts, Theresa (Janis) Apple and Eileen Janis; uncles, Dale Janis and Clarence Janis; cousins, Corey Apple, Darrell Janis II, and Adam Janis; nieces, Angel Yellow Thunder and Kayza Jean Red Owl; and nephew, Horatio Apple.
Pallbearers will be Ray King, Benny Apple, Cecil Apple III, and Jacob Helper
