Funeral services for 53-year old Marvin Lee Standing Bear are Friday, Dec 10, 2021 at 2:00 Ct at the Norris Community Hall in Norris, SD, with the Rev John Willard officiating.
Burial is at St Paul Episcopal Cemetery in Norris.
A two-night wake service starts Wed, Dec 8, 2021 at 2:00 CT, also at the Norris Community Hall
Marvin Lee Standing Bear was born on February 29, 1968 in Rosebud, South Dakota to Severt Standing Bear, Sr. and Rena (Amiotte) Standing Bear. Marvin made his journey to the Spirit World on November 27, 2021 at the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD.
Marvin is survived by his children, Chauncey Standing Bear, Randy Standing Bear, Joshua Standing Bear, and Dakota Lee Standing Bear; brothers, Severt Standing Bear, Jr., Ronald Little Thunder, and Steve Little Thunder, Sr.; sister, Beverly Little Thunder; and 8 grandchildren.
Marvin was preceded in death by his spouse, Theresa Good Voice Flute; parents, Severt, Sr. and Rena Standing Bear; sister, Linda Little Thunder, and brothers, Harold Standing Bear, Lonnie Standing Bear, Leonard Standing Bear, and Duane Standing Bear.
Pallbearers will be Richard Standing Bear, Dawson Standing Bear, Colin Standing Bear, John Black Bear, Sr., Severt Standing Bear, Jr., Lane Standing Bear, and John Black Elk
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
