The North Platte NRD greenhouse project, the Greener Gardens Greenhouse was built in 2018 as an in-ground, geothermal, experimental greenhouse. It’s 138 ft long and 17 ft wide, nestled 4 ft in the ground, and operates year-round with the help of volunteer master gardeners.
