A Mass of Christian Burial for 79-year old Michael Little will be held Monday, May 6, 2024 at 10:00 at Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD, with Father Joe Daoust, SJ, officiating.
Burial is at the Little Family Cemetery in Little’s Flat, SD
A one-night wake service starts Sunday, May 5, at 4:00 at Brother Rene Hall in Oglala with evening services with Rosary at 7:00.

Michael Ronald Little was born on April 14, 1945 in Pine Ridge, SD to Wallace Henry and Mildred Elaine (Cuny) Little. Michael made his journey to the Spirit World on April 27, 2024 peacefully at his home in Pine Ridge, SD.
Michael is survived by his children Charlie Little of Pine Ridge, Holly Young of Phoenix, AZ, Rhonda Thunder-Glenmore of Lander, WY, Willis Lakota of Rapid City, SD, Corinna Means of Sioux Falls, SD, and Michelle & Pete of New Mexico; brother Ernie A and Elizabeth M Little (Big Crow) of Oglala, SD; sister Helena “Babe” Little of Rapid City; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, & nephews. .
Michael was preceded in death by his parents Wallace Henry Little and Mildred Elaine (Cuny) Little; daughters Holly Young and Renee “Cookie” Yellow Boy; son Clyde Young; brothers Orville John Little, Edsel Wallace “Eddie” Little Sky, Leroy Donald “Donny” Little, Richard Theodore Little, Darrell Wayne Little, Paul Joseph Little, James Norman Little, Wallace Gene “June” Little Jr, and Robert Edward Little; sisters Nadine Elizabeth Little-Rendon (George), Adele Angelique Little-Benson, LaVonne Elaine Little and Lorraine Evelyn Peil (John); maternal grandparents Edward & Angelique (Fire Thunder) Cuny; and paternal grandparents Amos (Mary No Water) Little & Lizzie Post.
Pallbearers are Troy Little, Sam O’Rourke, Orson Cuny, Baylee Little, Robert “Chop” Martin, Geoffrey Black Feather, Chris Benson, Ernie Abold, Wallace Running Eagle, and Daniel Running Eagle. Alternate Pallbearers: Landyn Little and Braylon Little.
