Misty Ember Garnier was born on Dec 18, 1985 in Pine Ridge to Dale Garnier and Arvella (Hernandez) Wanbli Luta. Misty made her journey to the Spirit World on September 12, 2023 at the Monument Health Home Plus Hospice in Rapid City, SD.
Misty is survived by her mother Arvella Wanbli Luta; father Dale Garnier; siblings Kristan Hernandez-Wolfe, Stephanie Garnier, Azure Quiocho, Bernadine Garnier, Bradley Watters and Isebelle Garnier; and special friend Silvana Kalama.
Misty was preceded in death by her grandparents Emil “Jimmy” Hernandez, Beverly Colhoff, and Dirk Garnier; aunts Clarinda Walking Eagle, Shelli Poor Bear and Annie Colhoff; uncles David Garnier, Ernest Garnier, Marvin Hernandez, Daniel Bad Milk, and Don McMillan; and cousin Shawn (Hoksila) Walking Eagle.
Pallbearers will be Tashina Exendine, Jovanna Quiver, Amber Adams, Tera Jo Marks, Chris B Walking Eagle, Bradley Watters, Bryan Walking Eagle, and Heath Two Two.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends & Relatives.
