Dawes County Road crews made more progress Wednesday on reopening rural roads closed by snow and drifts from last week’s blizzard.
County Road Superintendent Wade Yada says that as of 4:30 pm, all roads in District 1 area and all but 2 in District 2 are open with at least one lane.
The 2 roads that remain closed, Country Club Road and Section Line Road are both closed in the middle will access for all residents from one end or the other.
There are 7 roads in District 7 that are still closed, but Yada says that just as in District 2, all residents on those roads have access from one end or the other.

District 1 – All roads to the best of our knowledge are open with at least one lane
District 2 – All roads except for Country Club and Section Line are open to the best of our knowledge with at least one lane. Country Club and Section Line have access to all residents from one direction or the other with the middle still impassable
District 3 – All roads except for Deadman, Mansfield, Bethel Loop, Rudloff, Mill, West Bethel and Bethel are open to the best of our knowledge with at least one lane. Deadman, Mansfield, Bethel Loop, Rudloff, Mill, West Bethel and Bethel have access to all residents from one direction or the other with the middle still impassable
