A Morrill man is in the Scotts Bluff County Jail on multiple charges after allegedly threatening 2 people at the Sioux County Feedlot Friday morning.
49-year old Alden Hill is facing counts that include terroristic threats, possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person, felony use of a weapon, and violating sex offender registry rules.
Nebraska State Patrol spokesman Cody Thomas says troopers were called just after 9:00 am to help Sioux County Sheriff’s deputies with an incident at Sioux County Feeders, about 10 miles northeast of Mitchell between Hwys 29 and 71.
Thomas says Hill had allegedly threatened two people at the feedlot with a knife before leaving.
He was located later at a business in Mitchell and taken into custody without incident by troopers and Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s deputies. Thomas says Hill had a knife when he was arrested.
