Murdy Jonas Hollow Horn Jr “Aglagla Iyanka” was born on October 3, 1960 in Pine Ridge, SD to Murdy Hollow Horn Sr and Mildred (Good Crow) Hollow Horn. Murdy Jr made his journey to the Spirit World on February 18, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Society in Canistota, SD.
He is survived by his siblings, Donald “Rudy” Looks Twice and Orville Hollow Horn; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Murdy was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred (Good Crow) Hollow Horn; father, Murdy Hollow Horn Sr; brother, Lyle Looks Twice; sister, Roylene Looks Twice; grandmothers, Eva (Eagle Bull) Eagle Elk, and Sarah Walks Under The Ground-Hollow Horn; grandfather, Jonas Hollow Horn; uncles, Ernest White Hawk, Bernard Plenty Wolf, Raymond Hollow Horn, Ray Briggs, and Leonard Rondeau, Sr.; aunts, Mercy Rondeau, Agnes Black Elk, Pearl Hollow Horn, Barbara Bad Bear-Two Bulls, Irene Harvey, Fern Hollow Horn-Mousseaux, Theresa Hollow Horn-Cabral, and Geraldine Hollow Horn-Jackson; nephews, Joey Twiss and Robert Running Bear; and cousin, Marina Eagle Elk
