Native American Storyteller At Scotts Bluff NM Tuesday Night

     Native American storyteller Jerome Kills Small offers this week’s Scotts Bluff National Monument Tuesday Night Special at 7:00 in the Visitor Center Amphitheater

      Titled “Children’s Stories, Animal Stories, and Traditional Lakota Stories,” the program includes tales that have been passed down for generations as part of the Lakota and Dakota Sioux traditions. 

    Kills Small will tell trickster tales and old legends while also discussing the Native American storytelling tradition. 

     Kevin Kills Small is one of the more than 165 individuals in the Humanities Nebraska Speakers Bureau and his visit is funded in part by Scotts Bluff National Monument and Humanities Nebraska.

     Also assisting are the Nebraska Cultural Endowment and the Black Hills Parks and Forests Association.
