
On June 28 and July 26, 2024, the U.S. Department of Transportationโs Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded $18 million to 24 airports across the state. The grant funds are part of a nationwide initiative to enhance airfield safety and infrastructure.
Nebraska’s airports are part of a broader vision, with the FAA distributing over $123 million in grants to 235 airports in 35 states and the District of Columbia.
