Nebraska Announces New Assistants

Nebraska Men’s Basketball head coach Fred Hoiberg announced the additions of Lincoln natives Josiah Allick and Triston Simpson as graduate assistants Wednesday morning. 

Allick played for Nebraska this past season, averaging 7.3 points per game while averaging 5.4 rebounds per game. Started 27 of the 33 games he played in this year. Allick started his college career at Kansas City, before transferring to New Mexico before returning home to Lincoln as a graduate transfer. 

Simpson returns to his hometown Lincoln after serving as an assistant coach at Indian Hills Community College in Iowa. He helped lead the Warriors to the NCJAA semifinals.

He played his college basketball at South Dakota where he was a three-year starter at point guard.

Both Allick and Simpson are Lincoln North Star alums.
