The University of Nebraska announced Tuesday that baseball head coach Will Bolt has received a five year contract extension. The new deal will run through 2029 and pay Bolt $500,000 per year.
The extension comes two months after Nebraska baseball finished their 19th 40-win season in program history and first since 2014 when Bolt was an associate head coach for the program.
In five seasons at the helm of Nebraska, Bolt has averaged over 27 wins per season which includes the shortened 2020 season. His 137 wins puts him sixth all time in wins as head coach of Nebraska.
