Nebraska softball added another Nebraska native to the roster as Kacie Hoffmann announced her commitment to the Cornhuskers Tuesday morning.

Hoffmann played her high school softball at Elkhorn South where she set school records in batting average, doubles, home runs, and RBI’s before committing to Arkansas.

At Arkansas she played in 106 games while starting in 96 of those between right field and designated player.

Hoffman will have two years of eligibility for Nebraska after missing last year due to an injury.

She joins Omaha Skutt alumni Hannah and Lauren Camenzid in transferring to Nebraska from Arkansas in the past two weeks.
