The South Dakota Highway Patrol says a 32-year old female motorcyclist was killed in a crash about 15 miles west of Rapid City Thursday morning.
The Highway Patrol says the woman, whose name has not yet been released, was eastbound on Nemo Road near its intersection with Pine Road about 10:30 when she lost control of her bike.
The motorcycle went across the opposite lane and hit the guardrail. The woman, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown off and pronounced dead at the scene.
