Funeral services for 33-year old Nicholas Charging Cloud are Sunday, April 28, 2024 at 3:00 at the Wounded Knee District School gymnasium.
The services will be preceded and followed by visitation from noon-5:00, also at the Wound Knee school gym.
Cremation will follow the services with burial at a later date.

Nicholas Francis Charging Cloud “Sunkpahi Aku” was born June 26, 1990 in Pine Ridge, SD to Bryan Charging Cloud and Karen White Butterfly. Nicholas made his journey to the Spirit World on April 22, 2024 at the Pine Ridge I.H.S. Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD.
Nicholas is survived by his baby Naomi Charging Cloud; parents Byran Charging Cloud and Karen White Butterfly; brothers Ryan Charging Cloud, Richard Charging Cloud, and Barry Charging Cloud; sister Sonja John; hunka sister Liz Foote; hunka mother Jennifer Yankton; uncles Donovan Chase and Austin Backward; aunts Yvonne Chase In Winter & Joyce White Butterfly; special friend Michelle Randall; and numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Nicholas was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Wallace Charging Cloud and Matilda Little Crow; maternal grandparents Ben White Butterfly and Frances Ice; brother Kelly Charging Cloud and Jeffery Charging Clouds; and sister Katrina White Butterfly.
Pallbearers will be announced
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
