Nicole Jean Dearly was born on August 3, 1970 in Pine Ridge, SD to Jerry Dearly and Emma (Keedah) Nolan. Nicole made her journey to the Spirit World on July 5, 2021 at the Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock, NM.
Nicole is survived by her son, Matthew Dearly of Shiprock, NM; mother, Emma Nolan of Shiprock, NM; father, Jerry Dearly of St. Paul, MN; granddaughter, Kimimila Dearly; siblings, Anthony Dearly, Victoria Dearly, and Leland Nolan all of Shiprock, NM, and Jeremy “Worm” Dearly of St. Paul, MN; aunts, Catherine Looking Elk of Oglala, SD, and Marietta Yazzie of Denver, CO; and uncle, Roy Keedah of Winslow, AZ.
Nicole was preceded in death by her siblings, Star Dearly and Jerry “JD” Dearly, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Lucille and Jimpson Dearly; and maternal grandparents Frank & Estella Keedah.
Pallbearers will be Lewis Crazy Thunder, Jerome Crazy Thunder, Wesley Yellow Horse, Jr., Tallehatchi King, Casseus King, and Anthony Dearly.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Dearly, Sr., Catherine Looking Elk, Emma Nolan, Leland Nolan, Matthew Dearly, Anthony Dearly, Victoria Dearly, Jeremy “Worm” Dearly, all friends & relatives, and anyone we may have missed.
