No Foul Play Suspected In Unattended Death In Rural Dawes County

Dawes County Attorney/Coroner Vance Haug says the initial investigation into the death of a rural Dawes County man discovered in his home on Saturday found nothing to suggest foul play.

63-year old David Didier was found unresponsive by his family about 12:30 Saturday afternoon. They immediately contacted emergency rescue and law enforcement, but Mr Didier could not be revived.

Haug says an investigation of the scene by the Dawes County Sheriff’s Office and interviews with witnesses turned up nothing that indicated any type of foul play was involved.

Haug has ordered an autopsy and toxicological screening for Mr Didier to better determine the specific cause of death.
